Download Identicon Avatars 1.0.3

Shows an Identicon for users who have not selected an Avatar. The Identicon is generated uniquely for each member, using a hash of their email address. The size of the Identicon can be set using a setting added with this hook.

The Identicon is created on demand, and saved in the /uploads folder, so that it can be reloaded from there instead of regenerating it each time. This may cause the page to load slowly the first time as it generates these Identicons, but subsequent page loads will not have this issue, as the image files will be generated. The images are only created for those who need them, so those with an avatar will not need to spend the processing power to create them.
