Anyone else trying out FF Beta 4? So far I like it. No problems with it.

I've been using it since beta 2 or 3. I can only remember one problem I had, beta 7 had memory leak issues. And issues with Minefield (nightly build) and Flash Player, but that doesn't count.

I'm still using 3.6. I use a lot of addons for Firefox to do my development work (Firebug, HTML validator, Firesizer, ColorZilla, etc.) and I've worried that they won't work anymore.

When I installed the beta, it installed separately from 3.6

Ooh, I was assuming it would upgrade my current Firefox installation. Let me give it a try then.

To get Firebug working you need to go to getfirebug.com, and fetch the latest alpha version. It is quite stable for an alpha. Been using that as well since the beginning, with no issues.

Firesizer and HTML validator doesn't work, but Web Developer have these features.
ColorZilla doesn't work either, but I think part of it's job can be done in Firebug.

I have 3.0.19 which I use most of the time, plus 3.6 and 4.0beta installed.
When you install each select a different folder than the default. One of them (I think 4.0 beta) will only install to the default folder, so I renamed the default first. Firefox will still find the exe after you rename the folder, and if it doesn't, set a desktop shortcut: right then set the path.

What information is that? Behind in what regards? That's different from what I've heard.

I agree. With Firebug, FirePHP, Colorzilla, MeasureIt and the other developer add-ons I would be lost with any other browser.
